We visited the U-Drop Inn in Shamrock, Texas. It's an old Conoco gas station with an attached diner that was built in what humans call the Art Deco style. It has a tower on top that you can see for miles.
Emily says you can tell a lot about the age of a building just by looking at little things like the way the door handles are shaped.
Ron said the guy who designed the U-Drop Inn used a nail to draw a picture of it in the dirt before he built it. Too bad the diner part isn't open any more. I'm getting hungry!
